As an in-house sound designer at Electronic Arts, Andrea helped provide sound design, in-game music scoring, audio implementation, and UI/UX sound design for "Dawngate," a Multiplayer Online Battle Arena game.
WAVEDASH GAMES - ICONS: COMBAT ARENA
Andrea provided sound design for Icons: Combat Arena, a game making the next genre-defining platform fighter that is community focused, competition ready, and as fun to watch as it is to play. Try it out on Steam.
TENCENT AMERICA - REALM OF SWORDS
Tencent America's iOS game "Realm of Swords," combines city-building and turn-based combat with a medieval-fantasy theme. In-Game sound design provided by Andrea Chang.
BOOYAH - EARLY BIRD
Andrea sound designed Booyah's iPhone and Droid game, "Early Bird," which was featured in the "New and Noteworthy" section of the App Store, having hit #1 in iPad App and #4 iPhone App on the App Store.
ROCKETCAT GAMES - MAGE GAUNTLET
Andrea co-composed the soundtrack for 2010 IGF Mobile Finalists Rocketcat Games' critically acclaimed, "Mage Gauntlet," a SNES inspired fast paced action RPG featuring 84 levels, 86 achievements, 110 hats (important), 10 pets, and many more.

ROCKETCAT GAMES - HOOK WORLDS

ROCKETCAT GAMES - SUPER QUICKHOOK

Super QuickHook, by Rocketcat Games, is a sequel to Hook Champ, which had you playing as an explorer traversing caves with a grappling hook and other powerups collecting riches and trying to stay alive. Super QuickHook largely expands and refines its predecessor’s concepts and controls and is all about swinging from your grappling hook to progress through the levels, although you also have limited-use rocket boots and a ground sliding ability to help you navigate the levels quickly.

INTRINSIC GAMES - PENGUIN PATROL
Sound Design and Music by Andrea Chang.
Created by the IGF Mobile award winning team at Intrinsic Games, Penguin Patrol is about an evil (but oddly stylish) Walrus that has stranded adorable baby penguins on thin ice, and it's up to you to save them. A puzzle game featuring 50 increasingly challenging levels .

I worked with her when she was one of two audio engineers and I was the Art Development Director on Electronic Art's Dawngate. Andrea was half of a power house audio team that was responsible for, regularly (every 3 weeks) putting out a brand new character with all their VO and sound effects.
Andrea also contributed heavily to the music in the game, creating the musical numbers for our tournaments and designing the audio for our new UI we updated the front end of our game. Again, all of these projects were while doing all VO work and sounds effects for a new champion every 6 weeks.
Andrea approached all this work with a positive calm demeanor, which given the day in, day out stresses of working on a live game is difficult to maintain.

Andrea was the Audio Lead on the Hololens app - Actiongram, designing music and sound effects, editing VO, handling all of the implementation and creative direction for Actiongram’s audio.
Actiongram, a HoloLens app developed by Microsoft, enables new forms of storytelling using holograms. Move, resize, rotate, and record holograms in your home, creating videos you can share with friends. Check out the trailer here.

WINDOWS CENTRAL AUDIO TEAM
As a Senior Sound Designer on the Windows Central Audio team, Andrea assisted in many HoloLens and WIndows apps and experience across the org, providing sound design, music composition, and audio implementation. She also designed, researched, and created innovative audio prototypes for HoloLens, VR, Windows, IoT devices and
promoted these audio features for adoption into HoloLens and Windows apps.

While working on Microsoft's Central Audio Team, Andrea successfully patented a linguistics sound model.
